Our resident PGA Professional, David Costigan, is delighted to offer a widely stocked shop with all the latest brands. Members and visitors can browse and choose some mementos to remember their visit to the Island Golf Club. Full sets of irons and woods are available for trial on our practice areas. We have different lofts, lies, grips and shaft options for trial to ensure you make the right choice when it comes to selecting your clubs.

Lessons and Coaching

We offer expert tuition on the golf swing and can help you improve your game. Our lessons are fun and concentrate on practical tips that can get your handicap down. Lessons are provided by our Head Professional, David Costigan, or Assistant Professional, Paul O’Connor, at €40 per lesson. Junior Members can avail of a 50% discount on lessons.

History in Collectables

David is also an avid collector of “historic” clubs. Including a 40th anniversary set of Ben Hogan irons – one of only 1,500 sets made and a set of Ben Hogan Apex clubs, to commemorate Justin Leonard’s Open Championship win in Troon in 1997, one of only 276 sets made as well as many other woods and irons dating from many years back. These compliment the rich history of the Island Golf Club and are a nod to the origins of the game.
