Directions From Dublin

Follow signes for Belfast and M1. Leave the M1 at the Donabate exit. At roundabout take 3rd exit (singposted Donabate) and at ensuing roundabout take 2nd exit (singposted Donabate). You are now on the R126. Pass Newbridge House and take 2nd right, just before hump back bridge. Follow road around the estuary. You will see the dunes and the Clubhouse of The Island Golf Club across the water. Turn right at the end of the water. Welcome!

NB Coaches: Please go into Donabate village and turn right in the center of the village, following signs for Donabate and Balcarrick Golf Clubs. At the end of this road, turn right and continue until you reach the estuary road. The Island Golf Club is on your left. (Do not take the 2nd right off the R126 as there is a low bridge on this road.)
